Sam Hawking from Sam Hawking & Co in Port Talbot competes in this amazing race.

The legendary Berghaus Dragon’s Back Race™ follows the mountainous spine of Wales from north to south. This incredible 5-day journey is 315 kilometres long with 15,500 metres of ascent across wild, trackless, remote and mountainous terrain. It is the toughest 5-day mountain race in the world.

At the end of May 2017 Sam competed in this awe inspiring race through Wales. He decided to raise funds for the charity when he lost his most highly regarded PA and office manager Greta Sparkes of cancer in February this year. He came an impressive 22nd out of 144 people who entered. We cannot thank Sam enough for all he raised and still the page is open. He raised a whopping £4333.84.
