At Cost of Cancer myself and the trustees Emma and Cath have been trying to come up with fundraising ideas. What we need is a yearly event which you guys do and take part in which is fun and easy to do. So we’ve come up with the idea of having “Together Month”.

As you know our mantra is “together we can help” because most of what we do we can’t do without the help of others. So we thought why don’t we do something which means you do something with your friends and family together.

So for the month of September every year you can do absolutely anything you want, you can do a tea and cake day, gin day, ladies day. Anything you wish to do, as long as it’s in the month of September. As we’re just starting out with the concept we thought that if you just ask everyone who attends your day/event to donate and then send it in to us we can start from there.

We are hoping as the years go by we can send out event packs to you to help you organise your day/event.
